ABSTRACT: | This Technical Report (the Report) for the “Hombre Muerto North Project” (the Project) is largely based on a preliminary report prepared for One Borax S.A., a private Argentinian company owned by Mr. Jorge Moreno of Salta, Argentina (One Borax and formerly the “New Brine Lithium Project”). The Report has been prepared for NRG Metals Inc. (NRG) to conform with the regulatory requirements of Canadian National Instrument (NI) 43-101 using the form 43-101 F1 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. The Project area straddles the northern edge of the Salar del Hombre Muerto basin (the Salar), near Salta and Catamarca provincial boundaries in the Puna Region of northwest Argentina. The Salar is a large evaporite basin comprising enriched lithium brine concentrations and within the Central Andes of Argentina and the so called “Lithium Triangle” of Argentina, Bolivia and Chile. Much of this Report was initially prepared by Nivaldo Rojas, Mining Engineer of the Universidad de Atacama in Chile; Member of the Institute of Mining Engineers of Chile and Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FausiMM), which qualifications confer him the conditions of being a Qualified Person (QP) under the requirements of Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM) National Instrument (NI) 43-101. Unfortunately, at the time of the filing of this report, Sr. Rojas had died. Sr. Rojas was familiar with the geology and operation of lithium deposits, and visited the Property on October 3 to 5, 2016. | |
